Orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx. We do not ship with the US Postal Service, so we regret that we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Also, we do not ship to foreign countries. Standard service is UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Typical transit time is between 1 and 5 business days.
Most items are shipped within 2 business days (meaning if you place an order on Monday it should normally ship out by Wednesday). Items with longer lead times are indicated in bold at the bottom of the product description. We cannot guarantee ship dates or transit times so if you have a special need regarding delivery time, please call or email us and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
From time to time our warehouse is closed and does not ship orders. Please note these dates below for 2014. Any orders placed during these times will be delayed until reopening.

When items are not in stock, we make every effort to be as accurate as possible with our lead time estimates, but please keep in mind that these are estimates based on current information. Sometimes items end up taking longer, in these situations we will keep you updated via email. Also, sometimes items come in early in which case we ship them out as soon as they are available.
Number of Shipments
If your order includes more than one item, your order may come to you in multiple shipments. This is because certain items are located at different warehouses.
Certain orders may be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer's warehouse. We do this so you can get your order faster. In these cases, if you want to return your order, it still needs to come back to Linenplace not to the company who shipped it. Please ship these items back to the Linenplace warehouse at the address listed on the return policy page.

Shipping to HI and AK and Large Carton Size Shipments
Shipping rates to HI and AK are higher. We will contact you with a rate for approval before shipping. In addition, some bulky orders (large cartons) shipping to the continental U.S. are also subject to higher rates with UPS and FedEx and may also require a revised shipping rate. In this case we will also contact you for approval before processing the order. Thank you for your understanding.
