We’re very happy to offer Echelon Home’s Washed Belgian Linen collection of sheet sets, duvet cover sets, pillow cases and euro shams!
Linen has a wonderful texture, is highly breathable and is more durable than cotton. It’s certainly great to sleep on in the summer, but in fact, it’s great all year round! If you’re not familiar with linen, it’s important to appreciate the unique texture, and that it takes some time to achieve the buttery softness that is the hallmark of linen. Echelon’s linen bedding is pre-washed for softness, but they keep getting better with each wash!
The classic color palette offers great choices for any decor.
SaveLinen tends to be VERY expensive, prohibitively so for many, this has changed with Echelon Home’s Washed Belgian Linen. A queen sheet set is $169, which is about 30% less than leading retailers! It’s a great time to give linen bedding a try. Use coupon code FREESHIP at checkout for free shipping on any order over $50.
“Hotel Collection” has been a popular look for years now. It’s favored for its classic simplicity and that it looks great with virtually any type of bedroom decor. We are incredibly please to be offering the gorgeous and casually-chic Pom Pom at Home bedding and bath line!
Here’s a little about them:
“As natives of Belgium, we naturally have a passion for everything “linen,” resulting in a crib and adult bedding line made of 100% linen. Our lines are versatile; with delicate embroidery, crushed velvet and hand-crocheted lace on the finest and softest linen. Pom Pom at Home embodies a “lived in” elegant look that is still relaxed and casual. This is the main inspiration to this unique collection which transforms everyday experiences into a sheer delight. We have also recognized that we live in a time where we are globally conscious of how our daily actions affect our environment. What better way to start and end your day than by having our linens as a reminder of how you did your part. Our 100% certified organic linens are made from the purest of flax fibers. The combination of luxury and environmental sustainability has never been so comfortable. Pom Pom at Home embraces the essence of life’s enjoyment. Its products evoke a sense of romantic glamour, peaceful memories, gentleness and freshness. Whether it is Pom Pom at Home’s fine linens, accessories or fragrances, all are made with the highest quality and attention to detail, always with a passion for beauty! We also offer Pom Pom’s comfy wool blend throw blankets and decorative shams! Their cotton shower curtains will add just the right amount of feminine elegance to your bathroom (but not too much that your husband or boyfriend will protest, LOL!)
I am loving this neutral bedroom from Lonny Magazine’s December/January 2014 issue! The linen bedding is gorgeous. I am a huge fan of linen: the texture, the way it gets so super soft after several washings; and it is also incredibly durable.

Here at Linenplace, we’ll have Peacock Alley‘s new linen/cotton blend sheets available in a few weeks! They are 30% linen and 70% cotton, and made in Europe. Classic white with a simple yet elegant hemstitch detail, you can’t go wrong with sheets like this!

A linen cotton blend is a good compromise because you get the benefits of linen, with less wrinkling. (linen is definitely known for wrinkling a lot, but it is so worth it) Also, 100% linen sheets can be insanely expensive!

People ought to sleep an average of 7-8 hours everyday. That’s a third of our lifetime in the bedroom! However, getting enough sleep is not always easy for many people. Here are some ways to make your bedroom more sleep-friendly.
De-cluttering your sleep sanctuary can help make the space more calm and relaxing.
2. Make the Room for Sleep Only
Don’t structure your bedroom for multitasking. Make the room sole purpose be a resting space.
Dust can trigger allergens in the body which can prevent a good night’s sleep.
Having the color white as part of the main palette of your bedroom can create a timeless feel of elegance and modernity.

The latest Goop features The Guest Apartment - the challenge: to transform an expansive but frill-free space above the garage into a cozy and fully outfitted guest apartment (or teen exile) – on a budget.”

The room is planned out with functional areas: desk, sleeping, reading chair etc. I like how they kept the bed really simple with a white tufted headboard, white bedding and a heathered gray blanket draped across the bottom. Any pattern on the bed would have made the room look too busy. The wallpaper is the “wow” statement-maker so the rest should be pretty low key! I love the mid-century style bedside tables, you can get similar tables with white marble tops at Overstock.com! This style is modeled after the Saarinen Table by Knoll designed by Eero Saarinen in the 1950s. The real ones are rather expensive, so it is good that there are a lot of replicas out there.

If you need a great set of white sheets, our 800 Sateen, 800 Stripe and Percale are all wonderful options made with Egyptian cotton, and the prices won’t break the bank.
I personally love the look of rich wood grains (hardwood floors, furniture, cutting boards… etc.) they add warmth and character to a room. Well, who’d have guessed you can have wood grain bed and bath linens as well!
Inhabit’s Madera sheets feature a wood grain look on a crisp white background. They’re also super comfy – - made with 400 thread count organic cotton sateen!
We also love these Organic Woodgrain Towels from West Elm… faux bois for the bath. The textural tree-ring pattern of the Organic Woodgrain Towel brings the outdoors in in the subtlest way.
Bonus, because these styles are fairly subtle they will mix well with virtually any decor!
Among Elle Decor’s Best Rooms of 2013 are this super chic bedroom featuring dark pink walls, vintage fashion prints on the walls, an animal print rug and crisp black and white hotel bedding. “Miles Redd’s gorgeous guest room for Erika Bearman looks like a boutique hotel room in Paris.” What a fantastic look!
You can achieve a similar look with Windsor bedding that features a triple row of embroidery, available in sheets and duvet covers!
