Google and PayPal Payment at Linenplace
In today's unfortunate world of rampant credit card fraud, many customers feel uncomfortable sharing their credit card information. At Linenplace we understand this and go to great lengths to make sure that shopping with us is safe and convenient. Paying with PayPal is a great option for customers who want to minimize the number of websites to whom they give their credit card information. PayPal allows you to pay for a Linenplace order without sharing your credit card information with us and they also protect you against unauthorized use of your PayPal account. Another new payment option is Google Checkout. As with PayPal, when you use Google Checkout you do not need to share your credit card information with us. Your credit card information is kept by Google on their secure server (protected by 128-bit encryption) and your payment is processed by Google who then pays Linenplace for your order. However, if you do choose to use your credit card at Linenplace, it's good to know a few things: 1. all credit card data is passed for authorization through 128-bit encryption 2. when your credit card is authorized, it also goes through address verification of your billing address 3. of course, our check-out pages use https (the standard encrypted communication mechanism) which protects your information while it is in transit between your computer and us 4. a real human being looks at every order to screen for suspicious orders. For most of us, NOT shopping on-line is simply not an option because it's just too darn convenient and we're just too busy! We hope that our payment solutions make you feel comfortable shopping at Linenplace. Cheerio and happy shopping.
